Outdoor promenade performances of Shakespeare classics return to the stunning grounds of Traquair House for the start of the summer season. Following last year’s dramatic production of Macbeth, the company are tackling something more lighthearted – but equally likely to prompt discussion amongst modern audiences: The Taming of the Shrew. Inspiration for Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate – and teen movie, 10 Things I Hate About You – it promises to draw the crowds to the grounds of Scotland's oldest inhabited house.
